- Dr Nick Booth: Chief Information Officer
- Mark Walsh: Operations Director
The CHC Programme seeks to integrate data across primary, secondary and social care. It will develop capability in the analysis and use of these integrated data sets in provider, commissioning, public health and ultimately wealth creation applications.
The CHC NENC underpins the Great North Care Record (GNCR), which aims to improve the way information is shared between healthcare professionals across the NENC region. The GNCR is a project led by GP practices, hospitals, community and mental health trusts with the purpose of making an agreed set of information from each organisation immediately available between healthcare professionals using a secure, electronic system to help provide the best treatment.
The steering group for the CHC NENC is supported by the AHSN NENC and includes the member organisations with additional representation from the Clinical Informatics Officers of FTs and CCGs. We also have representation from the CCG Forum and from Local Authorities through the Directors of Public Health Forum.
