Innovation Pathway

The AHSN NENC has developed the The Innovation Pathway, which is our vehicle for articulating the bespoke services that can be provided to NHS organisations and industry.

The Innovation Pathway concept is central to the AHSN NENC and we commission a number of delivery partners from the regional healthcare infrastructure to support us in the provision of these services.

In the North East and North Cumbria region, The Innovation Pathway is rapidly gaining traction and is now generating some real and tangible benefits.

Our member organisations, and companies of all sizes, can access the expertise of the AHSN NENC as well as the delivery partners encompassing The Innovation Pathway, in order to drive and exploit innovation and adoption, as well as, where appropriate, to grow their business. The Innovation Pathway enables companies to access NHS expertise to grow their business. Bespoke services are provided covering the entire innovation life cycle from conception of an idea through to its eventual realisation of commercial success and patient benefit. Critical to the success of The Innovation Pathway are our delivery partners. Together we provide these services in a seamless and scalable fashion.
