AHSN fracture feature in QJM
The success of the AHSN NENC proactive fracture risk assessment project to optimise treatment for high risk patients within primary care has led to a publication in the International Journal of Medicine (QJM). The Quality Improvement Report titled “Fraction prevention: a population-based intervention delivered In primary care” supported 71 practices within 2 Clinical Commissioning Group areas resulting in a potential 274 fractures being prevented saving £805.145 over a 3 year period.
