The Digital North Accelerator programme is a joint project launched by the by four northern Academic Health Science Networks (AHSNs) – Yorkshire & Humber, Health Innovation Manchester, Innovation Agency North West Coast and North East and North Cumbria. The programme aims to help digital SMEs increase spread and adoption of their innovations across the whole of the North of England by delivering a range of supporting activity.
The Northern AHSNs invite you to the showcase webinar for IEG4’s Digital Continuing Healthcare (CHC) Assessments Platform taking place on Tuesday 3rd March 1-2pm.
This event will be of particular interest to those involved in Continuing Healthcare (CHC), Hospital Trust leads for out of Hospital Care, Community Services Leads, and ICS Leads involved in of acute or community services. It will provide you with an opportunity to understand the potential benefits and savings of the innovation for your system.
The CHC Assessment platform allows digital entry of e-Checklists, e-Assessments & e-DSTs mirroring the NHSE National Framework. Workflow automation accelerates communications with stakeholders working on Standard and Fast Track CHC processes. Digital CHC reduces administration effort, improves transparency to accelerate eligibility decisions and improves patient service. The agenda includes:
- a demonstration of the patient portal by Jackie Gill at IEG4,
- an example of how this has been introduced at Sunderland CCG by David Britton at Sunderland CCG
- a presentation on the 2020/21 vision for strategic improvement from Matthew Watt at NHS England/Improvement.
