Grief, Loss and Bereavement Training for employers, line managers and anyone responsible for staff.

Bereavement is a huge challenge for employers as most of us will experience the death of a family member or close friend during our working lives.

Death and dying are not easy subjects to talk about but they are issues that affect us all and have been at the forefront of our daily lives more so than ever during 2020.

This short, taster session is designed to help you understand how to positively support a colleague back to work following the death of a loved one.  We will look at the importance of having a strategy in place within your organisation, not only in relation to your duty of care but also as good business practice regarding staff retention, time lost through absence and the wellbeing of your team.

The session is delivered online by St Oswald’s Hospice’s Bereavement Team and lasts around 45 minutes.
