Tony has a measurement background, particularly relating to the safety and quality of clinical care. He Is Deputy Director Clinical Effectiveness at South Tees Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust and the Director of the North East Quality Observatory Service (NEQOS) as well having a day-a-week role in HI NENC. He is particularly interested in Virtual Wards and Hospital at Home following the pandemic when he helped to establish Covid Oximetry @home services and Covid Virtual Wards across the region. He led the Patient Safety Collaborative (PSC), which is commissioned by the National Patient Safety Team in NHS England, since its inception in 2014 until 2022.
